Settings, subscription plans, and billing
The Settings and Billing pages together control your account preferences — your business identity, subscription tier, invoice numbering, and payment gateway connections.
Billune's Settings page is intentionally short. There are only three things about your business that we need to know to make every future invoice work well: your business profile (name, address, tax IDs), your invoice numbering preference, and your payment gateways. Everything else is either per-invoice (client, line items, notes) or purely visual (template, accent color).
Billing is a separate page — Sidebar → Billing — where you pick a plan tier. Every tier includes unlimited invoices; the difference is AI credits, ad removal, watermark removal, recurring invoices, and team features. You can move up or down between plans any time via Stripe's Customer Portal, and cancellation is one click with no lock-in.

Business profile
Settings → Business Profile. Your business name, email, address, country, and default currency. These populate every invoice automatically. If you're VAT/GST-registered, this is also where you enter your tax ID — it will render on every invoice PDF automatically, which is a legal requirement in many jurisdictions.

Invoice numbering
Settings → Invoice numbering. Set a prefix (e.g.
HAL-) and starting number — future invoices auto-number sequentially. Existing invoices keep their original numbers. Sequential numbering (with no gaps) is a legal requirement in many countries — Billune ensures every draft AND every sent invoice gets a unique sequential number, so there are never gaps in your ledger. - 03
Payment Accounts
Settings → Payment Accounts. Connect Stripe, PayPal, and/or Razorpay for online collection, or toggle to Offline mode. See the Payments overview for details.

Subscription plans
Sidebar → Billing. Four tiers: Free (ad-supported, 0 AI credits), Pro ($10/mo, ad-free, 15 AI credits/mo), Premium ($22/mo, 60 AI credits/mo, recurring invoices, Precision Template Studio), Agency ($49/mo, 150 AI credits/mo, white-label, team seats). Monthly or yearly (10% off). Also: buy AI credit top-up packs anytime ($5→25 credits, $10→60 credits (+20% bonus), $20→150 credits (+35% bonus)) — top-up credits never expire.

Manage subscription
On the Billing page, click Manage subscription — this opens Stripe's Customer Portal where you can update payment method, download invoices, or cancel.

Cancel any time
Cancellation is one click in the Customer Portal. You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then drop back to Free plan. No lock-in, no cancellation fee. Your invoices, clients, and items all remain accessible even on Free — you just lose AI credits, get a watermark back, and see ads on Free-plan screens.
